Fundraising Idea: Host a dessert auction!
Host a special event where people sit at tables with an envelope on them. Arrange for contributions of delicious desserts from either home-bakers or businesses. Have a table displaying the desserts so everyone can check them out. Encourage everyone to contribute money to the envelope on their table. Collect the envelopes and arrange for people to count how much each table collected, then start calling on the tables to get their dessert, going down the list starting with the table that contributed the most.
