To the Saints of the SeaTac Missional District,

Our pastors have been wonderfully creative and busy. You can now order a book written by our local clergy called Filling the Void: Voices From the None Zone. Rev. Kristin Joyner and Bothell lay-person Lynne Pearson organized and edited the book which highlights chapters from 13 of our pastors. Each chapter tells the story of how we are doing ministry here in what is called “The None Zone.” It gives a glimpse to the emergence of God’s new creation birthing in our midst. Give it a read … it will inspire you.

Chapters by Rev. Brad Beeman (Aldersgate), Rev. Jan Bolerjack (Riverton Park), Rev. Lara Bolger (Redmond), Rev. Kelly Dahlman-Oeth (Ronald), Rev. Meredith Dodd (Bryn Mawr), Emma Donohew (Bellingham), Rev. Kristen Joyner (Bothell), Rev. Joe Kim (Bothell), Rev. Jenny Smith (Marysville), Rev. Jeremy Smith (Seattle First), Rev. Heather Sparkman (new church planter), Rev. Dave Wright (Chaplain), and Rev. Karen Yokota Love (Mason, and come July, Blaine). An excellent read and an excellent gift to give another.

Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to UMCOR-US Disaster Relief Fund. You can order from Amazon Books now or from Market Square Books May 15. It’s a good read.

The Rev. Rich Lang serves as Superintendent for the SeaTac Missional District in the Pacific Northwest Conference of The United Methodist Church.
