Position Description: We are seeking a unique individual with a passion for young people to develop and implement strategies to connect with teens in the local community to build a youth group and help it to grow and thrive. The goal of the Youth Leader will be to encourage youth in the development of their own relationships with Jesus Christ while providing an opportunity for them to connect with other youth via worship services, mission projects, special events and involvement within the larger scope of the Church. The Youth Leader position is diverse in responsibilities, detail-oriented and highly relational in nature.
Expectations: Attend Sunday Morning Worship service 10:00-11:30 weekly. Office hours are flexible but you will keep a detailed log of the work you do whether in the office or from home or in the community. You will work with our vision team to help plan and organize various outreach events in the community, participate in monthly Core Leadership Team meetings, recruit, support and equip volunteers to help with the youth program as it develops.
Qualifications: Ability to pass WA State Patrol & National Background Check. Experience working with youth required. Education preferred. Display personal faith in Jesus Christ. Must be 21+

UMC at Lakewood is looking to fill a part time, paid position (approximately 3-5 hours per week) for a Music Director/Worship Leader for our 10am blended worship service on Sunday mornings.
Position Description: The Music Director / Worship Leader will work directly with the Pastor and the worship team to plan, prepare and execute each weekly worship service with accompanying vocals and instruments. He/She will be responsible to actively build our worship team and introduce new music to the congregation regularly.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will display a personal faith in Jesus Christ. He/she must be skilled in vocal and instrumental direction. (Guitar and/or Keyboard proficiency preferred) He/She will be responsible for technology associated with worship including the use of computer and presentation software. Previous experience leading a worship team is preferred.

To help staff relevant jurisdictional events and gatherings.
To collect and communicate relevant information on how each of the Annual Conferences within the Western Jurisdiction are organizing, planning, and deciding on future directions.
To identify and help in the development of resource materials that will foster the movement of inclusivity at the local church level.

University Temple United Methodist Church is currently seeking a teacher for Sunday mornings. The job is available to start immediately. The appropriate candidate should have previous experience working with children ages 2-12. This position will be the main teacher each Sunday and will work with volunteers who are available to support the children during class.
