Bishop Elaine JW Stanovsky intends to appoint the Rev. Shane Moore as Pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church in Yakima, Washington, beginning July 1, 2019.
Rev. Moore is currently serving Simpson United Methodist Church in Pullman, where he also resourced the college ministry at Washington State University.
It was previously announced that the Rev. Bruce Smith, who currently serves Wesley, will be appointed to serve First UMC in Vancouver, Washington.
