Listening and learning around the tables at Edmonds UMC

Last weekend, nearly 200 people packed into the fellowship hall at the United Methodist Church in Edmonds, Washington for the third Table Talks conversation held in the Pacific Northwest Conference. Rev. David Valera interviewed several people to hear first hand of their experience of the event and what they learned from the conversations they participated in.

More than two dozen Table Talks are providing a way for United Methodists across the Greater Northwest Area to engage the church’s current discussion of human sexuality and the report of the Commission on a Way Forward within a structure of worship and respect for one another.
