Tuesday Family and Faith Call-In Day
Every Tuesday evening, in coordination with other faith groups, we want to encourage families to get together, play a game, talk, and call both of your Senators call 1-866-940-2439 and urge them to support the family immigration system. If this is an evening phone call, you will probably get voicemail and you can just leave a message. Here’s a sample script:

“Hi, we are the ________ family from _________, Washington (or Idaho). We value our time together as a family and we urge Senator to value families as well by prioritizing families in any immigration reform package and increasing the number of family visas for immigrant families to reunite.”

We invite families across the conference to do this every Tuesday while Congress is discussing immigration reform. So make a plan with your family to have fun together and advocate for immigrant families – and send in pictures of your family together, talking, playing a game or calling. The pictures will be added to a national United Methodist journal.
