A few hours after General Conference voted down proposals to recognize the presence of differing opinions on homosexuality, Rev. Frank Wolf, a gay clergyperson and delegate to the conference, is asked to open the afternoon session in prayer.

  1. A positive token, but it feels like nothing more than that – a token, given in the hope that folks will feel represented by one prayer while they are excluded from the full life of both the GC and the Body.
