Workshop for Hispanic/Latinx Leaders and Young People Exploring the Candidacy Process in The United Methodist Church
Hispanic/Latinx leaders and young people who are exploring the candidacy process in The United Methodist Church are invited to participate in this four-hour workshop designed to encourage and equip those discerning God’s call to pastoral leadership.
Lunch will be provided for all participants.

Workshop Objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
- Reflect on God’s call within their own cultural and life experiences.
- Understand the unique opportunities and challenges of immigrant pastoral leadership.
- Explore practices for emotional and spiritual wellness in ministry.
- Build relationships with mentors and peers who are discerning ministry.
- Develop a personal next step in their vocational journey.
We encourage pastors, church leaders, and young adults who are discerning a call to ministry to attend and invite others who may be exploring vocational ministry.
