The Rev. Neal Christie, Assistant General Secretary for Education and Leadership Formation at the General Board of Church and Society in WA.D.C. will be one of Mission u’s study leaders. He has worked extensively with the Social Principles including making videos and revisions for 2020 General Conference.

Denise, Janjay and Neal will help us discover that covenantal living calls us to acts of mercy and justice with all – regardless.
Men, women and youth are all invited to Mission u, a joint venture of UMW and Global Ministries.
Calling All Youth, ages 12-17!
This year, a very special invitation is extended to youth interested in Mission u. Experienced leaders Amanda Hutchinson and the Rev. Christopher Gudger-Raines will lead. Gudger-Raines is the current pastor of Orchards UMC, was a US-2 and worked for Global Ministries in New York. Hutchinson works at Skamania Lodge and became involved in UMW because of Limitless, a special program for young women. She is communications coordinator for Vancouver District UMW.
“In Mission Together: A Youth Study on Missionary Conferences” will examine justice issues; explore new ways to do mission; the rich culture of these Conferences and look at experiences from “Youth 2015” that included youth from all 3 Missionary Conferences.
Scholarships are available, especially for first timers, youth and young adults. Vanpooling and shuttle service again will be available.
