The Director of Children, Youth and Family (CYF) Ministry is an enthusiastic and progressive Christian with a passion for working with children, youth and families. He or she has the education and experience required to work successfully with the CYF Ministry Team and church leadership to develop, implement, and oversee programs for children, youth, and families in support of the ministry of WUMC. This is a 15-20 hour per week position that includes evening and weekend responsibilities.
Hours and Compensation: The Director is a 15-20 hour a week position at $20 an hour. The director should generally expect to be in attendance and onsite for educational programming; however, the director has some flexibility to determine hours worked. Hours should average 15-20 hours a week over the course of the year; however, hours can be flexed between weeks so that more hours are available during busy periods (e.g., Easter and Christmas) and fewer hours are worked during slower periods.
This position reports to the WUMC pastor, collaborates closely with the Children Youth and Family (CYF) Ministry Team, and is evaluated by the Staff Parish Relations Committee.

Youthville would like to set up an office to serve our foster families in the south end of Seattle. They are looking for low cost (or free) rental space in a Seattle area churches.The space would be used for one person checking e-mail and etc before visiting foster families. Foster families themselves nor anyone else would be in the space. Youthville is a 501(3) located in Marysville with United Methodist roots. Tibbetts United Methodist Church is seeking to temporarily fill the position of Youth Director during the months of May 2015 thru September 2015. The incumbent Youth Director will be on a pre-arranged leave of absence from June 5 thru September 30.
The individual selected for this position will have an opportunity in May to work with the incumbent for part of the month. During the month of May 2015 and September 2015, the individual may work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. During June, July and August, the position is anticipated to work up to a maximum of 10 hours per week. There is one exception to this schedule for a mission trip that has been arranged for July 12 – 17, 2015.
