Crest to Coast Laity and Clergy are invited to join District Superintendent Rev. Kathleen Weber at an upcoming Lay Leadership Gathering—a dynamic space for connection, inspiration, and practical sharing.

Whether you’re looking for fresh ideas, eager to tackle challenges together, or simply want to see what others are accomplishing, these Zoom gatherings are designed for you.

Crest to Coast Lay Led Churches Summit

Join lay leaders from across the PNW for an afternoon of collaboration on May 17th, 10-2 pm. 

District Superintendents Kathleen Weber and Daniel Miranda welcome you and your church teams to this remarkable opportunity to exchange ideas, foster connections, and engage in meaningful collaboration through Zoom breakout rooms.

At this hybrid event, Crest to Coast District participants will meet in person at Kelso UMPC, and participants from the Inland, Puget Sound, and Seven Rivers Districts will join virtually via Zoom.

Crossing Over from Competition to Collaboration

The first Crest to Coast Missional District Clergy Day Apart will be on Thursday, February 21st, 10:00am-3:30pm at Chehalis UMC. The theme will be Crossing Over from Competition to Collaboration. In line with the Bishop’s invitation to a CrossOver year, we will spend the day engaging in conversation about collaboration in ministry. There will be a few different movements for the day:

  • Prayer for General Conference
  • Large and small group dialogue about competition and collaboration in ministry
  • Open space time for community driven conversations about potential collaborations

 

Here are the details of the day:

  • Hospitality in the form of conversation, caffeine and snacks will be offered starting at 9:30am.
  • Our time will start promptly at 10:00am
  • Lunch is provided. Please contact Hollie Swanson with dietary needs.
  • All appointed pastoral leaders, retired clergy, and CLMs are invited to this event.

Crest to Coast District Youth Retreat

Registration at the camp will begin at 11 AM on Saturday morning and we will wrap up Monday morning also at 11 AM.

Crest to Coast District is supporting this retreat & brings the costs down to $75 per youth, $40 per adult chaperone for the whole weekend. Scholarships available. If you have any questions, please contact Hollie Swanson at c2c@pnwumc.org
