The Pacific Northwest Annual Conference voted at October’s special session to form a team to create, award, and oversee a grant program that encourages innovation and risk-taking ministry. There are great ideas out there, with passion and energy ready to go, and sometimes our churches are strapped for cash, which makes it challenging to fund a new project or initiative.

This fund is meant for ministry dreaming, and the application itself will help a team work out the details of a plan that can be put into action. Our elected MOF Team (six lay people and three clergy) invites people to submit applications by February 28, 2026, for this first cycle.

Every detail is not nailed down nor perfected. We know there will be some try-fail-try-again, and we hope people will jump in and help us get started on this Annual Conference initiative.
