Workshops (please choose 2 workshops: 1 for AM & 1 for PM)

Small Church Vitality

In the church we often get distracted by programs, finances, and politics, and forget that everyone needs to experience God’s love. We’ll talk about ways to refocus our ministries on what matters most to abundant life: being loved by God and telling others about it.

Earthquake Preparedness

Are you ready for the big one? How can you prepare? The Cascadia earthquake and tsunami will be the largest natural disaster in history to hit the United States. The FEMA Region X Director has stated that “everything west of I-5 will be toast”. Come learn what we can expect and explore ways to be better prepared.

Community Partnerships Panel

This panel will explore the different ways our local churches are partnering with other organizations to make a greater impact in the community. This discussion is designed to reflect on and seek inspiration for new ways we can be more effective in ministry when working with other secular and faith-based organizations.

Panel will include partnerships with Habitat for Humanity, Car Camping, Family Promise, Literacy Project and Recovery Café.

Alternative Worship Panel

Is there one way to worship? No! Messy church, church inside, church outside, and more. This panel offers different approaches to worship.
