NOW has 20,000 enforcement personnel in 400 offices with a budget of $8 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hiring process: Transparency and communication can take up to a year. Illegal aliens can become legal if they have been a religious worker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many other divisions of ICE, such as the CIS Center for Immigration Studies and the INTR International Network for Immigration Research, to name a couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Greater NW News (<a href=\"http:\/\/greaternw.org\">greaternw.org<\/a>) published an article on January 8<sup>th<\/sup> of this year on the Immigration Crisis and A Faith Response; United In Faith COALITION, a collaborative network of people of faith to Educate and Activate, training, building awareness, and support for our neighbors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WAISN, Washington Immigration Solidarity Network, will guide volunteer trainers in how to be engaged and responsive community members in \u201cKnow Your Rights,\u201d both yours and the immigrants, on how to document ICE actions, whistle alerts, how to make a report to the HOTLINE, and what to do and not do as a bystander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>February 4<sup>th<\/sup>, an article in our local newspaper talked about Gov. Ferguson calling actions by ICE \u201cun-American\u201d and wanting to propose a bill to not allow masks on ICE agents. What and how is your community being affected?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patrick Scriven wrote on Feb. 13<sup>t<\/sup><sup>h<\/sup>, \u201cBeing wise as serpents, innocent as doves in an outrage-driven world.\u201d Everything in our public life right now is designed to provoke a reaction. Silence is treated as complicity, and restraint is mistaken for indifference. I am 100% supportive of people marching for justice, love, peace, and sanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We could go on and on, but prayers are definitely needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You do the research! relating to racism.&nbsp; Forward the information shared with a short report to your District Mission Coordinator for Social Action.&nbsp; We may use them for display at either Mission U or the United Women in Faith Conference Annual Meeting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold a letter-writing or postcard-writing correspondence party supporting or lobbying for racial justice legislation or unit, attend a worship service of a church, synagogue, or temple with a majority ethnic background different from your own.&nbsp; Be certain to inform the leadership of your intended visit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Watch a documentary or read a book containing racial justice themes with your unit, circle, or church small group.&nbsp; Discuss the movie using these three questions:&nbsp; Who is being exploited? Who benefits from the exploitation?
