SUMMARY:Clergy Wellness Seminar - Stress and Resiliency
DESCRIPTION:Are you feeling stressed out\, discouraged\, and in need of ideas on building coping strategies? The stress of clergy life is all too familiar\, and this past year with coronavirus changing everything about how we do ministry has made it worse than ever. In this workshop\, we will explore the common sources of stress and how it can lead to feelings of depression and potentially burnout unless we adopt better coping mechanisms. Please describe the incident\, your actions\, the outcome\, and what you learned and/or might have done differently. This study should be typed out and e-mailed to the presenter so that it can be forwarded to all participants prior to the training. Please submit this to the presenter at least one week prior to the class.  \nCANCELLED APRIL 22\, 2019. \nA limited lunch selection will be provided: two types of homemade soup\, one made with meat\, the other vegetarian and gluten-free. If neither choice appeals to you\, please feel free to bring your own lunch.
