Paul Jeffrey at the 5th Annual Mission Luncheon on Friday June, 14 at Annual Conference. Over 100 people were in attendance.<br \/>\n<!--more Check out our '5 Columns' churches!--><br \/>\n<center><strong>Inland<\/strong><br \/>\nManito<br \/>\nPuget Sound<br \/>\nGarden St.<br \/>\n<em>(also 2009, 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nPort Angeles<br \/>\n<em>(also 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nLangley<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seattle<\/strong><br \/>\nHaller Lake<br \/>\n<em>(also 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nHighline<br \/>\nBurien<br \/>\n<em>(also 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nRonald<br \/>\n<em>(also 2009, 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nBothell<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nSeven Rivers<\/strong><br \/>\nPasco: Riverview<br \/>\n<em>(also 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nProsser<br \/>\n<em>(also 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nYakima: Wesley<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tacoma<\/strong><br \/>\nOlympia<br \/>\n<em>(also 2009, 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nSummit<br \/>\nLakewood<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nVancouver<\/strong><br \/>\nVancouver: First<br \/>\n<em>(also 2009, 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nVancouver Heights<br \/>\n<em>(also 2009, 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nStevenson<br \/>\n<em>(also 2009, 2010, 2011)<\/em><br \/>\nSalmon Creek<br \/>\nCentralia<br \/>\n<strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p>5 Columns of Mission<\/strong><br \/>\nEvery church is challenged to support mission in these five ways each year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.umcmission.org\/Get-Involved\/Partnerships\/Covenant-Relationships\">Develop a Covenant Relationship with a Missionary.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.umcgiving.org\/site\/c.qwL6KkNWLrH\/b.3833841\/\">Participate in One Great Hour of Sharing (March 10, 2013- but money can be sent anytime).<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.umcor.org\/\">Give to UMCOR &#8211; The United Methodist Committee on Relief.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Support <a href=\"http:\/\/www.umcmission.org\/Give-to-Mission\/The-Advance\">The Advance for Christ and His Church<\/a> (Contribute to one of 739 Advance projects listed in \u201c2013-2016 Giving Opportunities Through the Advance\u201d booklet sent to every church early this year).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/new.gbgm-umc.org\/umw\/learn\/scm\/\">Attend or send a representative to Mission u<\/a> (formally The Cooperative School of Christian Mission).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Having a Covenant Relationship with a missionary is one of the 5 Columns of Mission. Missionaries the Revs. Lyda Pierce and Paul Jeffrey along with US-2 Tara Miller (currently serving at Mary\u2019s Place) were introduced at the lunch. Jeffrey showed some photos of his recent travels and spoke about them. The cost to support is $5 per member\/per year or $2500 per church\/per year.<\/p>\n<p>Jeffrey will be itinerating this fall and all of his Covenant churches will receive a visit from him. There is still time to sign up &#8211; forms are available online or in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pnwumc.org\/index.php?option=com_zoo&#038;task=item&#038;item_id=77&#038;Itemid=152\" target=\"_blank\">Funding Ministry and Mission Outreach booklet<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Send check to Conference Treasurer marked CR \u2013 Paul Jeffrey 09541Z<\/p>\n<p>Since Annual Conference 2012, 13 missionaries have visited 149 churches.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Missionary Itinerations July 2012 \u2013 June 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Katherine Parker: 44 visits from February to May<\/li>\n<li>Jeff &amp; Ellen Hoover: 36 visits from August to September<\/li>\n<li>Rev. Lyda Pierce: 24 visits from April to May<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Guy Kasanka: 10 visits in September<\/li>\n<li>David and Lori Persons: 9 visits in January<\/li>\n<li>The Rev.
