Tuesday Family and Faith Call-In Day <\/strong>
\nEvery Tuesday evening, in coordination with other faith groups, we want to encourage families to get together, play a game, talk, and call both of your Senators call 1-866-940-2439 and urge them to support the family immigration system. If this is an evening phone call, you will probably get voicemail and you can just leave a message. Here’s a sample script:<\/p>\n

“Hi, we are the ________ family from _________, Washington (or Idaho). We value our time together as a family and we urge Senator to value families as well by prioritizing families in any immigration reform package and increasing the number of family visas for immigrant families to reunite.” <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We invite families across the conference to do this every Tuesday while Congress is discussing immigration reform. So make a plan with your family to have fun together and advocate for immigrant families – and send in pictures of your family together, talking, playing a game or calling. The pictures will be added to a national United Methodist journal.
