In 2019, 432 quilts were received, an increase of 148 quilts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quilts were given out to the UMW District Presidents to be distributed to mission agencies in their areas working with women, youth, children, and babies.\u00a0The Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, Tacoma Community House, Atlantic Street Center, Family Promise in Salmon Creek, the Support Center in Omak, and Domestic Violence Victim Services in Everett are just a few of the places that have received the quilts in the past.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our goal for next year, 2020 is to bring in over 500 quilts.\u00a0Marsha Aufenkamp, President of Seven Rivers Mission District UMW, will be in charge next year. If you did not bring a quilt to conference this year, please consider bringing one next year.\u00a0If you brought one, how about two next year? Together we can increase the number of smiles on the face of a child receiving a quilt filled with love and prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember that we will take quilts as well as blankets.
