This program, gathering local and national teaching leadership,\u00a0is jointly sponsored annually by Conference Board of Global Ministries and United Methodist Women and is open to all – Men, Youth and Women.<\/p>\n

On the topic of money…<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cReligion and money\u00a0<\/strong>are topics you were taught to avoid during a polite dinner table discussion,” says the Rev. Neal Christie. “But for the Mission u<\/a><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0plenary study\u00a0\u201cWhat About Our Money? A Faith Response,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>we will have deep and fruitful discussion on these topics. I\u2019m excited return to the Pacific Northwest and especially thrilled to focus on this. Join us as we consider money matters from a biblical, ethical, and practiced perspective.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rev. Christie, who will lead this plenary study, serves as Assistant General Secretary, for the General Board of Church and Society<\/a> in Washington, D.C. \u00a0He edited the current edition of The Social Principles published last May and will be presenting 2020 proposed amendments for comments at Mission u.<\/p>\n
