\"\"Rosine Maruv Kayombo<\/strong><\/span> will now serve as the new director at the girls\u2019 Jamaa Letu Orphanage<\/strong><\/span>. Bishop Kasap Owan Tshibang<\/span><\/strong> of the Southern Congo Episcopal Area<\/strong><\/span> announced her appointment at the end of Congo Central Annual Conference, effective August 15.<\/p>\n

Her earlier employment includes 10 years as a secretary in a hospital in Kinshasa (the capital of Congo), seven years for a program of the World Bank for children and adults with HIV\/Aids, and in public relations for a local company in Lubumbashi.<\/p>\n

Kayombo is a daughter of a pastor who died when she was a student; her mother is also gone. She wrote this, \u201cAs I am an orphan, I am so happy to have this appointment as chairwoman of Jamaa Letu Orphanages.\u201d<\/p>\n

We welcome Rosine Maruv Kadonayombo into this important leadership position. We also recognize the many years of dedicated and capable leadership of Mama Francine Tshisola<\/strong><\/span> from the inception of the orphanages in 2000.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"\"Jean-Paul Dietrich<\/strong><\/span> is a new missionary from Switzerland in Lubumbashi where the two orphanages are located. He serves as a liaison between his Conference and the leadership of the South Congo Conference and the orphanages, assisting with communication and management. In addition, he will support the university students who are former orphanage residents with their finances, enrollment, and living arrangements.<\/p>\n

Dietrich brings a history of employment in international settings, in both the public and private sectors. His previous position was in Mali, West Africa with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. An earlier position was as the Public Information Officer of the UN Mission the DR Congo.<\/p>\n

Dietrich is a widower in his early 60s. His children remain in Switzerland. His hobbies and interests include classical and international music, politics & development, and traveling.<\/p>\n

We welcome Dietrich as a missionary and in his new responsibility. We also recognize the five years of service of Roman Hofer whose assistance with the two orphanages along with a myriad of other responsibilities enabled the ministry of both this conference and the South Congo Conference.<\/p>\n
