<\/a>Flood buckets and other relief supplies from the Rio Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church have begun to arrive in hurricane-battered areas of the upper Texas Gulf Coast.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
He urged Methodists to do three things:
\na) Donate funds; b) Offer spiritual support; and c) Offer practical help.<\/p>\n
Bishop Ough said Christians should still have hope that God will lift up those under the water and \u201cout of the mud and mire; set [their] feet on a rock and give [them] a firm place to stand.\u201d (Psalm 40:2)<\/p>\n
