It is with great joy that I announce the following appointment change for the Inland District:<\/p>\n

Rev. Gregg Sealey<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It is my intention to appoint the Rev. Gregg Sealey as the new Inland District Superintendent, effective July 1, 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gregg brings many gifts for this role: strong administrative skills, demonstrated in his leadership of the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry in this quadrennium; as well as vision and coaching training and experience to help pastors and churches grow in their ministry.\u00a0Recently certified as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC<\/em>) with the\u00a0International Coaches Federation<\/a>, Gregg brings the new skill set of professional coaching to the D.S. role, a direction that our Greater Northwest Cabinet is moving to into the future.<\/p>\n

He is a 2007 graduate of\u00a0Saint Paul School of Theology<\/a>, following a successful first career as a physical therapist, as part owner and member of the Board of Directors of Cascade Rehabilitation Associates. He has served our churches in Hoquiam and Spokane with care and skill.<\/p>\n

Gregg has served in the Inland District since 2009 as the pastor of\u00a0Covenant United Methodist Church<\/a>, bringing clarity of vision, reorganizing and focusing lay leadership around that vision, and leading vital and passionate worship.<\/p>\n

Gregg’s spouse, Jennifer, is an elementary school teacher in the East Valley School District; together they have two children, Olivia (16, a Junior at Mead High School), and Max (18, a freshman at Washington State University).<\/p>\n

I am excited for the Inland District, for the\u00a0Pacific Northwest Conference<\/a>, and the entire\u00a0Greater Northwest Area<\/a>. I hope you will join me in anticipating Gregg’s leadership for the whole church!<\/p>\n
