Bishop Elaine J.W. Stanovsky intends to appoint the Rev. Joanne Brown as Lead Pastor of Des Moines United Methodist Church in Des Moines, Washington, beginning November 19, 2018.
Rev. Brown was originally appointed to Des Moines UMC as Associate Pastor in June. The current pastor, Rev. Gloria Kymn will return to medical leave, effective December 1, 2018, to continue her healing process.
