PNW work recognized at UM Communicators’ Annual Meeting | By Jesse N. Love

Members of the Pacific Northwest Conference receive honors for their work in print, video, audio, visual design and writing.

The Annual Meeting of the United Methodist Association of Communicators (UMAC) was held from October 17 to 20, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Va. Communicators from all over the denomination gathered for workshops such as Local Church Communications 101 and Social Media Marketing – to name a few. Also on the schedule were roundtable discussions featuring Diana Butler Bass and the Rev. Dave Hanson.

On the final night of the Annual Meeting, the Gala Awards Banquet was held. Here, United Methodist Communicators had their submitted work critiqued and recognized by judges from the UMAC.
