Over the coming months, and most likely years, many trained volunteers are needed to help recovery efforts from recent events in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. As with anything else, there is a right way and a less than right way to provide volunteer services.

Attend an Early Response Team (ERT) training brought to you by UMCOR-trained instructors through the PNW UMC Disaster Response Team. Hear from experienced volunteers, participate in hands-on activities and learn the right way to help disaster survivors move towards their “new normal”.

Training emphasizes how to work alongside survivors, clearing out flood debris and stopping mold growth. Classes are open to anyone 18 years or older.

REGISTER NOW! Registration closes Thursday, October 5
