The Call Young Adult Retreat
April 15, 2016 - April 17, 2016
The word, “Calling”, according to author, Elle Luna in her book, The Crossroads of Should and Must: Find and Follow your Passion, means “Something that we feel compelled to do regardless of fame or fortune; the work is the reward.” When you follow a call, you are responding to an invitation to act. In The Call Young Adult Retreat at Lazy F Camp and Retreat Center, we will explore the meaning that “call” has in each of our lives. We believe that God calls each of us in different ways. We will learn how to discern where God is working in our lives, explore our spiritual journeys and gifts, and acquire tools that help show how we can rise to meet the challenges set forth before us. Come as you are, learn how to listen, illuminate your way, and claim the path God desires for you.
This retreat is open to all young adults seeking a place to start or continue on a larger journey of faith, exploration, and vocation. The retreat starts Friday, April 15th at 5:00 pm and ends Sunday, April 17th at 12:00 pm. The cost for the retreat, which includes Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast and lodging is $98 per person if registrations are received by March 27th. Cost goes up to $120 after Easter. Individuals and groups can register and pay online at http://lazyfcamp.org/the-call-young-adult-retreat/. Direct any questions to Lazy F Program Coordinator, Katie Rau, at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 509-962-2780. We look forward to exploring your call with you!
