Roots & Wings, the Puget Sound District’s annual training & workshop event, is scheduled for January 28, 2017.  Marysville UMC will host!

Join us for our annual Puget Sound District training event, Roots and Wings! Our theme is Sow, Nurture, Grow. We will worship together and hear from Rev. Lyda Pierce, PNW Conference Lay Leader Nancy Tam Davis, and District Superintendent Daniel Foster. Workshops will focus on leadership and mission.

In registering, we encourage you to choose one “leadership” course (labeled “L” on the workshop offerings list) and one “missional” course (labeled “M” on the workshop offerings list).  We recognize that, while there are certainly times when we need to attend to the business of the church, there must be balance between the work of church and the mission of the church.  Choosing one workshop from each category will better equip you to grow the influence of your church in the community.

Workshop Descriptions

Early bird registration through January 13 is $20.  $25 from January 14 through day of registration.  Scholarships available to those who need financial assistance.  Call Kyle at 206.870.6831 for inquiries about scholarships.  Lunch is included in the registration cost!

On site childcare will be provided.
