Organizing Your Church for Vitality
December 11, 2014 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
- How churches and faith communities administer and manage their organization systems can have a big impact on mission and ministry. Many congregations are finding smaller and more nimble boards to be a big advantage.
- Rev. Steve Ross will join us to provide an overview of best practices in establishing a single-board governance structure in a United Methodist church or faith community.
- Church leaders from new and established congregations will find helpful guidance for establishing this method of administration.
The workshop, featuring the leadership of Steve Ross, Director of the Vital Church Project in the Oregon-Idaho Conference and author of Leadership and Organization for Fruitful Congregations, will be hosted by Manito UMC, 3220 S. Grand Blvd, Spokane, WA, on Thursday, December 11, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Clergy and church leaders are invited to attend. $10 for one from a church; $20 for up to 7 from any one church. The registration deadline is December 8, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP. Thanks!
