Lazy Daze Camp for ‘Older’ Adults
September 15, 2015 - September 17, 2015
Refresh and Reboot
Lazy F Retreat and Camping Center
Ellensburg, Washington
Lazy F is the perfect setting for this end of the summer program specifically designed for older adults to stretch their minds and bodies, relax, meet new folks or reconnect with friends and grow in faith. Our program leaders, Jim and Nancy Davis, are actively involved with churches and conference groups in visioning, strategic planning, leadership development, and coaching. They are returning this year to lead sessions on exploring, honoring, and deepening our personal wells of faith, and how our faith can prepare us to live in today’s world where technology seems to reign supreme.
We can’t live with all the tech and we can’t live without it! Does it make our lives easier, busier, less ‘Refreshed’ or is ‘Refreshing’ something we do to our computer screen, forgetting the operator – you! Refresh and Reboot seems to be key buzzwords for us, but what does it really mean in our lives and how can we deal with it? Other activities during Lazy Daze are varied and often include educational sessions led by local experts, engaging discussions, and worship. A regular feature is sharing books read and movies seen in recent months.
As of this writing, additional special and exciting guest presenters are being planned for – details announced once they are confirmed. Time is available for hiking, fishing, crafts, games or other activities led by the participants. All activities designed to help you ‘Refresh and Reboot’ at Laze Daze! You can register online at www.lazyfcamp.org. For questions: call 509-962-2780, email office@lazyfcamp.org or Camp Dean, Rosalee Mohney.
