Cross Cultural Cross-Racial Appointments Retreat

The Commissions on Religion and Race from the Oregon-Idaho and Pacific Northwest Conferences are due to present its fourth gathering of pastors in cross-cultural, cross-racial appointments (C3R). For those new to C3R, these gatherings provide an opportunity for clergy in these special appointments to learn from one another, explore intercultural competency, and form supportive relationships.
Monday, October 10 to Wednesday, October 12.
The gathering is subsidized by a grant from the General Commission on Religion and Race through the Bishop Jack and Marjorie Tuell Center for Leadership Excellence. Participants are asked to cover their transportation costs to the retreat center. The grant covers all costs while at the event. Camp Burton, our retreat center, is a lovely facility, and the staff provides excellent hospitality, including the accommodation of special dietary needs.
