CANCELLED – Clergy Spouse Retreat
May 15, 2015 @ 5:00 pm - May 16, 2015 @ 5:00 pm
This event will be rescheduled to the Fall.
CALLING ALL CLERGY SPOUSES
All Clergy Spouses of all denominations are invited to be in Retreat on May 15 & 16, 2015, to celebrate together the opportunities and challenges of being a clergy spouse.
We will gather for dinner on Friday evening May 15, 2015 at Sunnyside, Washington United Methodist Church, 906 E. Edison Ave at 5:00 p.m. and spend the evening visiting, worshipping, resting, and breaking bread together before retiring to our respective rooms at a nearby motel.
On Saturday, May 16 following breakfast at the Grapevine Inn, we will return to the church at 9:00 a.m. where Earl & Sandy Rice will facilitate discussions addressing the particular unique joys & challenges of being married to a pastor.
Earl Rice is a United Methodist Pastor | Sandy Rice is a Licensed Spiritual Director
Both Sandy & Earl are talented musicians. In addition, should any of our participants like some one-on-one time with either Earl or Sandy, they are available to you on Sunday morning May 17th.
While this Clergy Spouse Retreat is designed for men or women who are married to Clergy, Clergy themselves may attend should that be beneficial to their spouses.
This Retreat is sponsored by RMR – Rural Ministry Resources, an ecumenical organization serving churches in the Pacific Northwest of all denominations.
To Register or for more information, please contact:
Cynthia Wuts | cindy@wutsfamily.com | 509) 796-4504 OR
Kathy Lee Kramer | kramerrmrelmore@frontier.com | 509) 284-6107
As the Grapevine Inn is holding a block of rooms for us, they request that you register thru either Kathy or Cindy rather than the Inn itself, as they are giving us group rates.
While expenses for this 24 hour Retreat are $120 per person inclusive of one night lodging, four meals, and snacks, we want you to attend, so if needed please accept a scholarship.
Hoping you can join us in a spirit of collegiality, sharing, support, fun, worship and refreshment.
Grace, Joy, Peace
