A New Heaven and a New Earth: Cultural Competency Training for the Northwest (Introductory)

This introductory workshop assists in building skills to effectively communicate with a diversity of people – younger, older, immigrant, a primary culture or language different from your own. You will learn skills and tools for building relationships across cultures. Appropriate for lay and lay/clergy teams who are interested in connecting with a changing mission field.
This event fulfills the clergy requirement for cultural competency training and is eligible for continuing education credit in the PNW Conference UMC.
This workshop is offered ecumenically by the Kaleidoscope Institute Northwest.
