DESCRIPTION:Everyone is invited to participate in our second roundtable discussion on the topic of immigration. Through these webinars\, we aim to offer practical resources and tools that church leaders can use to begin a ministry with immigrant families in their local church. \nClick here to register for this webinar. \nAt this roundtable\, we will hear a few stories from United Methodist immigrants in the PNW Conference\, get valuable information from the staff of Central Washington Justice for Our Neighbors (CWJFON)\, learn more about the Tacoma Detention Center\, and share some practical ideas and actions. There will be plenty of time left for questions and discussion. \nPanelists for this conversation include Abigail Scholar – CWJFON Executive Director\, and Todd Mildon – CWJFON Board President. Leo Pacheco and Clara Marino will offer devotions\, and Rev. Cruz Edwin Santos and Rev. Joanne Coleman Campbell will help to facilitate the webinar and a time for questions. \nThis event is hosted by the PNW Conference Immigration Roundtable Planning Team\, a cooperative effort between the PNW Conference’s Hispanic/Latinx Ministries program and Central Washington Justice for our Neighbors (CWJFON)\, a United Methodist ministry.
