During community time\, Rev. Lyda Pierce\, joined by several others\, will reflect on their personal and family experiences of migration and help us build curiosity about our own family’s experience that of others.. Additionally\, Paul Jeffrey\, through the magic of photo and video\, will present reflections on global migrations — even though he expects to be on the other side of the world at the time. Reflection questions will guide personal reflection time\, then we gather together again for conversation around the insights that have arisen for us. \n Our setting of Lazy F Camp and the schedule provide space to pursue your own personal interests – from hiking to napping\, and everything in between. Beginning with dinner on Friday and ending before lunch on Sunday\, we leave rested and energized\, having made new friends\, deepened existing relationships\, and nurtured our spiritual selves. \n About our Presenter: The Rev. Dr. Lyda Pierce serves as a United Methodist missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries for Hispanic/Latino Ministry Development in our Pacific Northwest Annual Conference. We need your voice.  \nYou are invited to the Church Council of Greater Seattle’s Annual Assembly on Thursday\, March 22 at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church\, 7500 Greenwood Ave. N.\, Seattle 98103. There will be a reception at 6 p.m. and the programming will begin at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome! Limited free parking is available in the lot on a first come\, first serve basis. The #5 bus line also serves Phinney Ridge Lutheran. \nThe Church Council of Greater Seattle is the region’s ecumenical body serving King and South Snohomish Counties. Our major consultative event of the year\, the Annual Assembly is a time to gather with members of the wider ecumenical church\, to hold rich conversations\, to learn what is happening currently with the Church Council\, and to inform the Church Council’s work.
