SUMMARY:Safety Advocate Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Conference staff will be offering another webinar for individuals who are interested in becoming a Safety Advocate for their church\, or in getting re-certified for this important role. Safety Advocates are responsible for promoting and maintaining Safe Church policies and for providing an avenue for vulnerable persons to voice a concern or problem. \nRSVP’s will be accepted via email to Teri Tobey until September 21st at 9 A.M.\, please include the name of your local church in your RSVP email. Only those who complete all four of the prerequisites will be sent the webinar login instructions on September 24th. \nTo keep our webinar under an hour the following prerequisites must be completed by September 24th at 9 A.M.: \n\nNational background check (available through your local church)\nComplete the MinistrySafe abuse awareness video training. The day includes worship\, two sessions of workshops\, and an afternoon session moving from conversation to action.
