SUMMARY:SeaTac District United Women in Faith Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Women of the SeaTac District\, please join us for our UWF annual meeting on September 30 at Kent UMC. Our theme for the day is “For the Beauty of the Earth\,” and our keynote speaker is the Rev. Laura Baumgartner sharing about Earth Ministry. \nRegistration is $12 and can be completed using this form. \n  \nThe schedule for the day is: \n8:30-9:00 AM – Continental Breakfast \n9:00-11:45 AM – Program & Meeting \n12:00-1:00 PM – Soup Luncheon \n  \nAbout our Keynote Speaker: Rev. Laura Baumgartner\nRev. Laura Baumgartner is the Pastor at Haller Lake United Methodist Church in Seattle and serves as the Board Chair of Earth Ministry Washington Interfaith Power and Light. Laura first worked with Earth Ministry/WAIPL as an intern during her seminary program and has been part of faith-based environmental efforts ever since. She has an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology\, a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology\, and Master’s of Divinity from Seattle University. Laura is married to her husband\, Eric\, and they have a college-aged daughter\, Grace\, and a very fluffy dog\, Calvin. She loves to walk\, swim\, read\, and bake.
