SUMMARY:Safety Advocate Webinar Nov
DESCRIPTION:Conference staff will be offering another webinar for individuals who are interested in becoming a Safety Advocate for their church\, or in getting re-certified for this important role. Safety Advocates are responsible for promoting and maintaining Safe Church policies and for providing an avenue for vulnerable persons to voice a concern or problem. \nRSVP’s will be accepted via email to Teri Tobey until November 26th at 9 A.M.\, please include the name of your local church in your RSVP email. Only those who complete all four of the prerequisites will be sent the webinar login instructions on November 26th. \nTo keep our webinar under an hour the following prerequisites must be completed by November 26th at 9 A.M.: \n\nNational background check (available through your local church)\nComplete the MinistrySafe abuse awareness video training. (available through your local church\, online videos taking about an hour)\nParticipants will need to review the Conference Safe Sanctuaries Guidelines (Click here for the Guidelines)\nTake this Google quiz (Click here for the Quiz)
