DESCRIPTION:Across the Pacific Northwest there is an ordinary revival brewing. \nChurches are moving from:\nFragmented Isolation TO Neighborhood Presence\nReligious Consumerism TO Collaborative Participation\nUnrecognized Privilege TO Equitable Inclusion\nA Scarcity Lens TO Abundant Ecology\nToxic Charity TO Community Caring \nOn September 7-8\, we will gather in Spokane to celebrate what God is already doing in our midst and to plot towards what is possible. SUMMARY:Table Talks: Finding a Way Forward Together
DESCRIPTION:United Methodists in the Alaska\, Oregon-Idaho and Pacific Northwest Conferences are being encouraged to participate in Table Talk conversations being planned in various settings across the Greater Northwest Area. These opportunities will provide attendees a way to engage the church’s current discussion of human sexuality and the report of the Commission on a Way Forward within a structure of worship and respect for one another. \nOur Table Talk at Wenatchee First UMC will start at 9am and finish at Noon. \nClergy and lay people from all across the area are asked to seriously consider participating in one of these opportunities. \nClick here to learn more about these conversations.\nPlease RSVP so site leaders can prepare for the right number of people.
