DESCRIPTION:Cheney\, Washington — Messy Church USA in cooperation with Cheney United Methodist Church is offering a regional Conference event on the best practices to use in starting your own Messy Church. The Getting Started With Messy Church conference will be held at Cheney United Methodist Church\, 204 4th Street\, Cheney\, WA 99004\, on Saturday\, October 5\, 2019\, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. \nThis training will give your team the vital tools to begin your own Messy Church. You will learn about the history\, values\, format and best practices to get your Messy Church started. If you’ve already begun Messy church\, this is an opportunity to share best practices and gain new ideas for sustaining your Messy Church in your local setting. This training is open to all denominations of the Christian Church \nMessy Church is a monthly intergenerational worship experience that explores God’s love in an accessible way. At Messy Church today’s busy households of all shapes and sizes are invited into a welcoming space to experience faith. Everyone is welcomed as they are. SUMMARY:Advanced Boundary Training
DESCRIPTION:Seven Rivers District is offering an Advanced Boundary Training this fall to fulfill the boundary requirement for clergy. The advanced training is for clergy who have already participated in one or more boundary workshops in the past. \nThe class involves discussion of case studies prepared by the participants. These should be prepared prior to the training\, based on a personal experience related to boundary issues. Please describe the incident\, your actions\, the outcome\, and what you learned and/or might have done differently. This study should be typed out and e-mailed to the presenter so that it can be forwarded to all participants prior to the training.
