DESCRIPTION:Clergy and Lay members of the SeaTac District\, please join us for the upcoming SeaTac District Day! On Saturday\, August 19 we will gather at Tacoma First UMC from 10:00am – 2:00pm. \nThe day will begin with a time of sharing from the ministry of Tacoma First UMC and the ministry they have created called Common Good Tacoma\, creating partnerships with community organizations that share a common vision for their neighborhood and community. Over lunch we will welcome the new pastors in our District and thank those who have served our District in this past year. Then\, we will conclude with a series of workshops that we believe will challenge and inspire you for your ministry contexts\, including “Deep(er) Dive with Common Good Tacoma\,” “Creation Care\,” and “Property Development and Community Engaged Partnerships.” \n  \nRSVP here to let us know you’re coming.
