In June, we returned to the Showplex Center at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup for the 2018 Pacific Northwest Annual Conference Session. We continued to explore our quadrennial theme, "Do this and you will live!", with a new focusing question, "Do what?"
The 145th Session of the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference offered many opportunities for members to discern for today a question posed by Bishop Elaine Stanovsky: "What does Love look like?"

In case this is your first time encountering the Annual Conference, ¶ 601 of The United Methodist Book of Discipline defines "the purpose of the annual conference is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by equipping its local churches for ministry and by providing a connection for ministry beyond the local church; all to the glory of God."
While much of our connectional work happens throughout the course of the calendar year, this important meeting in the life of the PNWAC helps us to remember where we've been, reorient ourselves to each other, and set a course moving into the future together; all to the glory of God!
