Welcome to the District Service Center. We serve as the main administrative hub for all of the conference’s districts and are your liaisons for communication between the conference, your district and your District Superintendent. While we each specialize in serving three of the conference districts, we can answer general questions or help connect you with the appropriate person to address more specific questions or concerns.

Kristina GonzalezDirector of Innovation for a Inclusive Church Greater Northwest Area
Training, training and more training; this is the number one need expressed by congregations of the PNW Conference. Kristina is ready to assist you in identifying the training that will help your faith community to reach further into its mission field to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Brant HenshawTreasurer and Director of Administrative Services Treasurer’s Office
Brant can assist churches with any of their insurance, risk management, Safe Church, Trustee, and Finance questions.
Brant supports the work of these Boards and Agencies: Church Finance and Administration and the Board of Pensions.

Cathy LangClergy Benefits Receivables Building ManagerWesley Homes Room Reservations
Cathy wears a few hats: The Treasurer’s Office Hat is for assisting local churches with questions regarding their pastor’s benefits statement, the church’s fire and liability statements, the church’s annual statistical reports and other documents that cause confusion in the ranks. When she is wearing her Board of Pensions hat, she is working on the Retired Connection Newsletter or the “In Memoriams” which are emailed memorial service notifications to the entire Conference. She supports Bruce Galvin, Conference Benefits Officer and the Conference Board of Pensions. She supports Brant Henshaw, the Treasurer and the Council on Finance and Administration, as well as the Board of Trustees. She is staff support for the appointed clergy who craft the Memoirs archival records for each Annual Conference Session. When she is wearing the Building Manager hat, she can be found assisting Conference leadership in booking meeting space at the Conference Center or Wesley Homes. She is fascinated with the HVAC system she works with at the Conference Center and carries an electric drill, an assortment of hand tools and a can of WD-40 which she loves to use at a moment’s notice.
Tyrone OldsMedia Assistant and Print Room Manager Office of Connectional Ministries
Tyrone works with technology at the Regional Media Center. Often found behind a video camera or computer screen, he helps things run smoothly during Annual Conference and other events, classes, and documentary projects.
Rev. Lyda PierceDirector of Hispanic/Latino Ministries Office of Connectional Ministries
Lyda acompaña al liderazgo hispano latino de la conferencia en nutrir la unidad, aumentar capacidad y creatividad en el ministerio, asistir a las estructuras conferénciales a que sean más abiertas y accesibles, y construir comunidades de fe que crucen las barreras culturales para que juntos vayamos tras el reino de Dios en nuestro medio. Lyda tiene muchas opiniones pero pocas respuestas definitivas. Lyda esta convencida oír el Espíritu moviéndose a través del mundo hablando por nuestras historias variadas. Por eso, ella quiere escuchar las historias y opiniones de otras personas. Ella está disponible para consultar, soñar, orar, planificar, evaluar y celebrar en relación a ministerios hispanos latinos.
Lyda accompanies the Hispanic/Latino leadership in the conference, with whom she seeks to nurture community, to increase capacity and creativity in ministry, to help the conference structures become more open and accessible, and to build communities of faith that cross cultural boundaries as we together seek after the Kin-dom of God in our midst. She has lots of opinions but not too many definitive answers. She wants to hear the stories and opinions of others she is convinced she hears the Spirit moving through the world in our varied histories. She is available to for consultation, questions, dreaming, praying, planning, evaluating and celebrating in relationship to Hispanic/Latino ministries.

Patrick ScrivenDirector of Communications & Young People’s Ministries Office of Connectional Ministries
Patrick is available to assist local churches in visioning, planning and implementing ministries with young people. He regularly consults with churches as they work through transitions, provides training opportunities for workers in the field, and supports connectional youth and young adult ministries.
Patrick is also responsible for overseeing the current development of the conference website and in working to support and develop conference communications. He enjoys working with local churches to reimagine their communications strategy specifically as it relates to reaching new people.

Rev. David ValeraExecutive Director of Connectional Ministries Office of Connectional Ministries
As a steward of the vision, David leads the Office of Connectional Ministries in helping align staff and program resources to what the conference sets itself to become. “An approved legislation would not mean much until we are able to live it out”. Serving also as the Conference Communicator, David assists individuals and churches in making connections with Boards and Agencies throughout the denomination and beyond. He can also assist with your electronic connections! Some of the groups he directly works with includes: Cabinet, Connectional Table, Personnel Committee, Conference Sessions Planning Committee, Communications Commission, Disaster Response and the OCM Technology Team.
