Men, women and youth are all invited to Mission u, a joint venture of UMW and Global Ministries.

Calling All Youth, ages 12-17!

This year, a very special invitation is extended to youth interested in Mission u. Experienced leaders Amanda Hutchinson and the Rev. Christopher Gudger-Raines will lead. Gudger-Raines is the current pastor of Orchards UMC, was a US-2 and worked for Global Ministries in New York. Hutchinson works at Skamania Lodge and became involved in UMW because of Limitless, a special program for young women. She is communications coordinator for Vancouver District UMW.

“In Mission Together: A Youth Study on Missionary Conferences” will examine justice issues; explore new ways to do mission; the rich culture of these Conferences and look at experiences from “Youth 2015” that included youth from all 3 Missionary Conferences.

Scholarships are available, especially for first timers, youth and young adults. Vanpooling and shuttle service again will be available.
