Bartimaeus Cooperative Ministries (www.bcm~net.org) presents a workshop on Household “Sabbath Economics” and the environment with Ched Myers and Faith Wilder.

What is the relationship between the Bible and our ecological crisis?  How can Christians and Jews “green” their faith?  What are environmentally sustainable household practices?  Ched Myers, an activist theologian from Southern California, is author of Binding the Strong Man: A Political Reading of Mark’s Story of Jesus, and The Biblical Vision of Sabbath Economics.  Whidbey resident Faith Wilder, a former corporate consultant, serves on several non-profit boards and brings a broad background in organization-building and a deep spirituality.  Cost: $15/person; for more information and to register, contact Faith Wilder at faithwilder2004@yahoo.com or (360) 321-2556.
