Camps Need Volunteers!
Several of our summer camps are in need of cabin leaders to help staff different weeks this summer. I hope that you will consider working a camp yourself and I pray you might encourage someone you know with the gifts and graces to work with young people to offer a week of their summer to ensure this opportunity is available to all the youth who register.

The following sites need cabin leaders on the following weeks. This list is not inclusive of all the opportunities available. If you have a week you could work that is not on this list, I'd encourage you to contact the camp directors below to see if there is a way they might use you.

Camp Indianola - Miranda Lovegren, Summer Director, 360-297-2223

Camp Indianola is in need of 5 female cabin leaders for Jr. High Camp on July 21-26. (Leaders need to be 18 or older)
One male and two female leaders are also needed for Jr. High Adventure on August 4-9. Lazy F Camp - Paul Bland, Program Coordinator, 509 962-2780

Lazy F Camp is in need of a dozen volunteers August 3-8 and August 10-15 to staff a special camp (Operation Purple) for children struggling with a military parent deployed overseas. The volunteers need to be over 21 for the first of the two weeks and over 18 for the second week (although a couple 16+ youth could also be used.
Senior High Camp could use more leaders (July 20-25)
Ocean Park Camp - Willis Williams, Director, 360 665- 4367

Ocean Park can use one female and one male leader for each of the following camps:
Primary Prayer Party (July 20-25)
Intermediate Explorers (July 20-25)
Jr. Hi Jive (August 3-8)
Sr. Hi Celebration (July 27-August 1)

Twinlow Camp - Brian White, Director, 208-687- 1146

Twinlow is in need of health care workers for any week; RNs or physicians are welcome. Twinlow also needs a female leader for our Junior High Watersports Camp starting July 7.

Thanks for considering this wonderful way to serve!

Send-a-Kid-to-Camp-
We have seen a significant increase in the number of families looking for financial assistance to go to camp this summer. We have already assisted 120 children and youth and have several more searching for the means to get to camp. If you are able to help send one of these children of God to camp it would mean so much to them. Your church may have unused scholarship funds, or the ability to take an offering and give them the experience of learning about prayer. Checks can be made out to the Treasurer's office with the memo line of "Send-a-kid-to-Camp" and you can contact Brant Henshaw at 800-755-7710 x307 for more information.
